The cool temperature at this elevation was a welcome relief from the heat at lower elevations. There is easy access from the campground to the Flat Tops Wilderness Area trailheads, as well as to Trappers Lake. This is actually one of 5 campgrounds in this immediate area, making up the Trappers Lake campground group.
