Leaves much to be desired. The reason I gave it two stars and instead of one is because the staff member that helped us with the buffet was so incredibly nice. However, have you ever eaten at a place where you immediately start placing bets on whether or not you’re gonna get sick for eating there? This will be your kind of place if you’re into that sort of gambling. The food looked like a had bee... Leaves much to be desired. However, have you ever eaten at a place where you immediately start placing bets on whether or not you’re gonna get sick for eating there? This will be your kind of place if you’re into that sort of gambling. The food looked like a had been cut for probably a week. Moldy broccoli, brown lettuce, slimy cucumbers. As a gluten-free person having I think one option that was gluten-free was unfortunate. I ended up eating a salad. Definitely think prison cafeteria food. The rooms are clean and what you would expect. I actually appreciate that they don’t have TVs in the rooms. However, the level of effort put into the property is definitely just that of a kids summer camp. If your children were just here for a camp, it would be great! As an adult with any sort of expectation in food, quality or experience, I would definitely never stay here again. It sucks because this place could be so incredibly amazing if it was just done better. Do your homework for this place!

We love the YMCA of the Rockies! We love to spend at least 4 nights in a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabins, amenities, and activities are the best of the best. This year our boys and us spent lots of time hitting the trails around the Y and RMNP! Also the craft center is our go to place for a relaxing and creative experience!! Thank you YMCA for being our families home away from home. ⛰️

The setting is absolutely beautiful and the location is a very short drive into town. That made it easy for me to run errands or get things that I’d forgotten. I did not love my room in wind River Lodge – the place was dirty, with dust everywhere, and the walls were extremely thin, which made it difficult to get good sleep. My room was at the end of the hall, which, for some reason meant that I did not have any divider on my patio. I had no privacy when sitting outside. I guess the idea with the rooms is that you will be spending the majority of your time outdoors, but I still think it’s important for the rooms to be comfortable and clean.

We come every year with our kids. Absolutely love the Y. We usually rent one of the cabins and have also rented rooms. Both were perfectly adequate. My kids love roller skating and the pool, sledding in the winter. We're always busy with activities and never bored.

Food was great and activities were MOSTLY good and well thought out.
