Pretty great campground overall. It has everything you need, and is close enough to the Sand Dunes. We appreciated the water pumps throughout the grounds. And the few trees for shading. Also be incredibly thoughtful of wind blockage when you set up your tent.

The swimming area was amazing, the campsite does not have any shade at all but at night it perfect for watching the stars!!

Wonderful campground. Spots are super nice for each trailer. Water, electricity picnic table, fire pit on pavement. Great experience for the newbie. Beautiful views.

My children and husband had fun camping here. It’s was very cold but was still fun for my kids to step out of their comfort zone and roast marshmallows and cook soup over fire. The place was cozy with lots of trees and a lake. I know we made beautiful memories for our children and would recommend this place to family or friends.

The facility is great and well taken care of. The problem is that there is almost no shade, the winds are blowing pretty hard, and you are far from the beach. The other campground in Lathrop is much better, especially if you want to enjoy the water
