The house is in an utterly serene location. We could only stay one night because it is blocked off every Tuesday and Wednesday for some reason. Bedrooms are upstairs and bathroom is downstairs which was a little inconvenient. The house was pretty dirty, mice droppings all over the kitchen and dishes. We would have felt more comfortable sleeping in a tent on the property, but that’s not allowed.

Not pet free, dog hair was everywhere, and the most mice ever seen in one cabin yay. No bugs due to all the hoards of bats. Chipmunk village on site so guard the stuff! 4 stars for the cabin itself, hiking to lookouts, and great vista views. Addressing the other posts, the Prisoners are probably living next door unless you thought we were parolees living here lol! And, believe the haunted giggle... And, believe the haunted giggles are their children watching from the woods! Great stay and everything in working order. There is a creepy giant HEAD rock formation on site "man of the mountain" best viewing and creepiest at sunset. VIARRO wireless service in front room.

Beautiful area! We visited Brewery Creek cabin in the past, but this is even better. There is running water (hot and cold), a flushing toilet, refrigerator, and stove. There's a coffee pot if you bring your own coffee. There are plenty of games to play. There's a fireplace inside, a fan, and portable heater. There's a grill and a fire pit with a grill cover. You can walk over to the stream, and there's a lot of beautiful trails! I'm sure I didn't cover it all!

Place smelled like rats so bad we couldn't stand it. Booked six nights only stayed 2. Also pretty sure something strange is going on here because we heard some weird noises, voices, and laughing in the night. I'm no princess and have stayed at many other forest service cabins in the past. Have to say steer clear of this one. It's a shame because this place is incredibly picturesque.

Spent a week here with family and had the nicest time! Neat little place with some fun little hiking trails right behind it. Relatively secluded and a nice place to get off of the grid.
