Conejos Campground

I stayed here for a couple of weeks this summer in an RV spot. The laundry facilities were good, the grounds were well kept, and the staff were friendly. Access to the river is not especially easy, so maybe not good if you have some physical issues, but there's easier access a couple of miles away. I loved the peace and quiet, the amazing scenery and wildlife, and the great attitude of the staff. Well worth a visit.

Got in a little trouble with coming in after hours, no service, bathrooms were locked. We drove a couple miles down the road to call the number left on the door and it was a sweet lady who answered. Asked us what was going on, and was very helpful. She gave us what we needed, and they weren’t rude about the situation which is appreciated (we are from out of state).
