Very nice FS campground with large sites and good separation. Gravel roads and spires all fairly level. Elk Creek is adjacent to the campground. Campground host Keith and Linda did an excellent job of maintaining the place.

Great campground right on a beautiful clear river with mountainous backdrops. I would totally recommend this campsite to anyone looking to be off grid and off the beaten path. Be aware that there is absolutely no signal with AT&T, Verison, or TMobile, so be prepared. There is only one site in the campground with power. All other sites are just the pad with no water, or power and the campground has... Great campground right on a beautiful clear river with mountainous backdrops. Absolutely our favorite off-grid camping! No hook ups, but water is available to haul back to campsite. Zero cell service. Might be a terrible way to start off a review, but this place is beautiful, peaceful, and calming. Sites are very large, vault toilets are the cleanest we have seen, and the views are amazing. Highly recommend!! ** We didn’t reserve our site prior to arriving and were able to... Absolutely our favorite off-grid camping! No hook ups, but water is available to haul back to campsite. We were shocked that it worked out.. btw, camp hosts are helpful and their dedication to the campground is apparent:)

This park was surprisingly pretty despite being open. The lake was beautiful and clean. We were only there 2 nights so we didn't get out the paddleboards. Had we stayed longer we would have explored more of the park. It was really quiet and campsites were spread way out. We took nightly walks around camp. I would visit again. Cell service was very good.

I had a wonderful experience at this camp ground! It was beautiful and the grounds were very clean. Even though all of the staff was friendly and helpful, Mary really stood out to me. She always had a smile on her and was always eager to answer any questions I had.

Had a great camping trip at Elk Creek. Beautiful location right on the reservoir, and some of the best stars I've ever seen at night. Plus, they have some excellent educational programs run by the Park Rangers in the afternoon at the amphitheater! I would definitely recommend it, and will likely camp there again if I'm in the area.
