The spot is incredible, but 24$ just for the view sounds a bit expensive… there was only one restroom opened and it was smelling like no other restroom I have ever encountered in my life 🤢 Also, there was no water, no shower or anything. So, I understand that we are early in the season, but maybe you could offer a better price as we can’t enjoy all the amenities the campground usually offers. We... We went kayaking on the lake though, and it was awesome.

Love this campground on the western side of Blue Mesa. No hookups but easily accessible for a variety of sized RVs. Easy access to lake via hiking trails and a loading dock for boats. Views cant be beat here and the lack of city lights means you can fully appreciate the nights sky.

We made a reservation online so we'd be guaranteed a spot on Memorial Day weekend. We got there and someone else had taken our spot. All running water was turned off, and all restrooms were locked except for one vault toilet. On Memorial Day weekend. There was no way to get ahold of any employee other than boat checkers, who are separate from those over the campsite. This costs as much as other campsites that are gorgeous spacious and have their water turned on, so it felt like a huge rip off. The view of the reservoir is gorgeous but even on the best of days, the campsites are tiny tent pads in a big parking lot. There are "walls" for privacy, but you can hear everything going on in neighboring campsites, and if neighbors are smokers (like ours were), their smoke gets into your campsite, as well (once again, with no camp host to address the issue). Even at full functionality, this campsite would be overpriced, but without anyone there to even unlock bathrooms and turn on water, this was a big disappointment.

What a great campground! Sites looking out over the reservoir, nicely paved and level. Our spot was site 33 but they all look great. Showers and toilets are well maintained, and there is an on site dump station. Potable water spigots are in several places but the sites do not have water or electricity.

The 2nd worst campground I ever stayed in. It is basically a parking lot with pit toilets and no showers. It might be ok if you are just staying in an rv and boating on the lake since it is very close to the boat put-in.
