This campground provides the perfect base for exploring some of the most beautiful terrain in the state, where towering pines frame scenic vistas and the peaceful sounds of nature replace the noise of everyday life.

The location puts you in an ideal position to experience Colorado's outdoor heritage. The surrounding national forest offers endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The Piedra River runs near the area, providing excellent fishing opportunities for both experienced anglers and those looking to try their hand at fly fishing. Loved this little gem in the woods. No frills, but beautiful! There was a stream right at the campsite (1 min walk), and of course we took a dip. It was cold and refreshing! The camp host was so friendly. The pit toilet houses were the cleanest I have ever seen. We are from out of state, but hope to come back again.
