The surrounding national forest offers countless trails ranging from gentle walks to challenging mountain expeditions. For fishing enthusiasts, the nearby creek and various water features throughout the region provide excellent opportunities to cast a line. The cooler mountain elevation means comfortable summers even as lower elevations swelter, making it an ideal refuge during peak heat seasons. Hiking opportunities abound in every direction, with trails suitable for families and casual walkers as well as more ambitious backcountry adventures for experienced hikers.

Whether you're watching elk at dusk, spotting mule deer along forest roads, or simply enjoying starry nights away from city lights, Park Creek Campground puts you in position to experience Colorado's natural wonders intimately. Gorgeous park with 9 spots for camping. This park offers clean bathrooms maintained by the host, fire rings, bear boxes, and dumpster on site. We got a gorgeous spot right next to the river and plenty of shade. You can also fish right off of your site with the correct paperwork! Safe travels!

Great campground! Nice ambiance from the river, beautiful views, and the most well-kept pit toilets I've ever encountered.

Amazing I've never stayed here before the creek is great I got to walk around in it until I saw a water snake and I was out of there. The camping here was amazing because I was able to hear the creek from my tent and I slept so good. Mosquitoes are ridiculous but defiantly worth putting up with ALOT of mosquitoe spray.

My Dad grew up fishing here, so now I am teaching my son here as well. Beautiful place with fun camping spots.
