Smaller, clean, spotless bathrooms (incredible!) The hosts were very kind and helpful. So many trails everywhere for biking, hiking and walking. Less than 5 min to the town of Fraser, large grocery store there, lots of restaurants too.

My wife and I visited many years ago at the nadir of the beetle-kill tragedy, and the campground was a very sad-looking place. Today after a decade of Nancy’s steady nurturing care of the many hundreds of new saplings and the “business” of running the campground, it’s beautiful. There are still a lot of dead trees around the outer perimeter, but there’s so much fresh new life taking hold in the campground that it projects a powerful image of renewal. I’ve never been anywhere with such wonderful trails so close to the campground. You can get on your bike in your campsite and be on an outstanding and expansive trail system within 100 feet. We haven’t ever seen bears here, but we’ve seem many mule deer and moose, including one yearling bull who came so close he had to duck under our clothesline. We spent the last week of June and the first week of July here this year, and brought 2 hummingbird feeders. Our campsite became crowded with hummingbirds within 2 days - it was fantastic to watch them dogfighting and courting each other. We will really miss Nancy’s presence and her special touch that have made this campground as special as it has become. I am sure the hummingbirds will be disappointed next summer when they return. PLEASE BRING A FEEDER IF YOU VISIT!

We were in site 6. Close to the rest room. The host is very nice and keeps this campground very clean. Restrooms are the cleanest of any FS campground i have ever been to. The only complaint is there is no shade except for one site that is for tents.

Great car camping spots. Clean toilets, knowledgeable camp ground hosts. Tent sites need some attention to create a less rocky base. Suggestion - Designated tent areas at camp sites need a finer aggregate base area with maybe a pole pine border... plenty of dead pole pine in the surrounding area to do this.

Talk about a heavensend! My girlfriend and I stopped by around 9am to snag a "first come, first serve" spot, and not only was it easy to do, the hosts were beyond amazing. The campsite was clean, the hosts were ultra friendly and informative, and the location was great!! Next time we return, this is the first place we're looking into!
