Rachel was extremely helpful in guiding me (a solo traveler) in planning my time while in CC. The hotel itself is gorgeous and reminded me of a museum. I found a couple of very affordable treasures in the on-site gift shop. However, the best part of the experience was Joanne. She is an absolute sweetheart and so incredibly kind; she has a way of speaking and caring that carries a genuine warmth to everyone she meets. Between the unique history and the wonderful hospitality, this place is a must-stay.
