Cripple Creek sits at an elevation of over 9,000 feet in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery and rich historical significance. The town itself is a living testament to the gold rush era, with preserved buildings, museums, and authentic frontier character that transports visitors back to the late 1800s.

Rachel was extremely helpful in guiding me (a solo traveler) in planning my time while in CC. The hotel itself is gorgeous and reminded me of a museum. I found a couple of very affordable treasures in the on-site gift shop. To top it off, the breakfast was delicious and the chef at Doc's kindly delivered it to the front desk so I didn't have to venture out in the cold. Highly recommend as a safe,... However, the best part of the experience was Joanne. She is an absolute sweetheart and so incredibly kind; she has a way of speaking and caring that carries a genuine warmth to everyone she meets. Between the unique history and the wonderful hospitality, this place is a must-stay.

Absolutely stunning place. The rooms are so unique and beautifully furnished. When not occupied they leave the doors open so you can tour them at your leisure. The owners are fabulous as well. They took the time to tell us about the history of this stunning estate. Breakfast was included and did not disappoint. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆ HIGHLY RECOMMEND
