There is a nice laundry room, reliable electricity/hook ups gravel lots with patios for every site also. This is not just a campground its a community. We have made more friends here than any other campground and seems like many of them come back here year after year. Its quiet at night and far enough away from town to be out of the hussle and bussle but close enough to enjoy all of the things in town. The owner and people that work here are very friendly and are quick to resolve any issues in the campground. There is walmart within walking distance as well as a shopping center and rv repair center . Its a great place to stay!

My deposit was kept also. Then I go to verify I lived there and they denied I lived there by putting my moms name on lease from March and she didn’t live there till July. I have all receipts showing my name on this. May no one rent here. She changes the books.

That is the only thing that I have to say about the park as being a negative. My rent was paid electric paid and they still kept my $700 deposit.

The cost for a day pass is $10. I had 8 to pay for, and was given a break of $3, so paid $7 each. This is a very high price for a day at a pool that was not very clean. The jump pad would be enjoyable, but there were goat heads that we got in our feet when we took off our shoes to be able to jump on it. . Some shade and nice seating would be nice around the pad. The kids then went to the playground. There was a pretty strong smell in that whole area, so they did not want to stay there either. The water slide ends on cement, and there was sand in the landing so it hurt them when they slid down. As I said, the pool just was not very clean, but it was the nicest thing there. I had been looking forward to taking my grandkids out there and was very disappointed. It would have been cheaper to just go to a pool. I hope they start maintaining better, but we will not be going back for some time. The staff was very friendly.

The world-famous jumping pillow was out of commission. It looked like they were doing a project around it. The pool was great, with the water a very comfortable 86 degrees. The kids didn't get cold and had a great time. The blow-up water slide was blown up but didn't have water running in it. Our sewer connection was full to the brim when I unscrewed the cap. Front desk said they would investigate and, in the meantime, I could dump in another site. Bottom line -the kids didn't want to leave when it was time to go home, and overall it was a very enjoyable weekend. We highly, highly recommend the wooded area sites on the west side of park, which have some full hookup options with 30 amps. This part of the park feels and looks so much more like "real camping". If you need full hookups with 50 amps, then you will be in the “parking lot style” sites on the eastern half of the park. Previously, one downside of the park had been some unsightly permanent resident camps that looked more like run-down refugee camps complete with torn tarps flapping in the wind. There are still long-term campers there, but we didn’t notice any eyesores to the level we had several years back.

We came from Oklahoma and California and we met here. It was fantastic. We had a total of 23 people. We rented cabin #5 with the rv site next to it for our tents and it was perfect. The staff was so helpful and friendly, especially Josie. I only have positive things to say about Prospectors. My entire family had a blast. The kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow and pool.
