The sitting areas for grilling & campfires are padded with nice picnic tables & chairs. There are bathrooms & toilets near the registration area. There are only toilets in the upper campground area. Their staff are friendly and courteous. We’ll definitely comeback to this place again on our next visit.

One of our favorite things to do after long days on the bikes was to just lay and relax in the river—it’s the perfect way to recharge. We also loved the convenience of the gas grill setup for easy meals and had a great time winding down with a few rounds on the putt putt course. It’s such a peaceful, comfortable spot with all the little touches that make a stay feel special. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend if you’re in the Steamboat area!

The camp store has gifts, postcards, ice cream and even beer and wine. The only downside is that the people in the tent sites (along the river) must use the restrooms on the edges of the property and we’ve had at least a dozen different people cutting through our site. Grrrrrr. For this, I took off one star, but seriously, the office should be educating their guest of camping etiquette. We also booked one of the premium sites with patio, gas grill, fire pit, etc and unfortunately, the site looked like a construction zone with no explanation or apology for the inconvenience. The office staff was friendly and they did have a lot of activities (candle making, tie dye shirts, movies) available. Overall, a fun stay.

Excellent place to stay for a long time, a little expensive for our university budget but Laurie is always considerate and willing to help with anything needed, which is totally worth it. We stayed the entire winter season the last few years on the L101 and excellent service. The location is excellent, the bus stops right outside, so it's very easy to get to downtown or the resort.

The experience wasn’t what I had hoped for for location wise and the cabin wasn’t cleaned well when we arrived with dirt and such all over the floors and floor definitely wasn’t mopped. Not offended a refund or anything, probably won’t be coming back to one of these again.
