It's visually pretty here despite being right in town. Beware, there is a train that runs very close! It sounds like it's running thru camp and it does run over night. I think that was the biggest draw back. There are 2 lakes. We paddleboarded on one of them a few times and it was not crowded. We weren't here on a weekend tho. This is a great location. The scenery is great, the campground is great.the campground sites are level with water and electric, fire pit, converted picknic table. One of the better campground we have experienced. Very nice bath house and laundry too. There is an entry fee to the park in addition to your camping fees. Staff were top notch.
