We found it! Our new favorite campground. Riverdale is staffed by a wonderful family. We met mom and her two wonderful daughters. Our site is amazing and we are inquiring about a seasonal option. We never want to leave. Facilities are clean and located in good locations across the grounds. Can’t recommend this place more.

Underwhelming. A new pool is the only boastful thing I can think of; but you can tell by lack of maintenance that it’ll be trash within a couple of years. Family friendly, except on weekends and holidays. Mid week you can soak in the views of all the derelict trailers scattered through the park. On the weekends you can enjoy no sanctioned events so everyone gets bored and starts “breaking rules”... Underwhelming. Enjoy spending 1,200$ a month to watch her mow the grass and contribute nothing to the well being of the park. After 30 years it’s a shame. A lot of potential once current owner goes away. For the cost you might as well go to Hammonassett. Yes, a state park has a leg up on this spot.

Beautiful campground! We loved the pond and store. The pool is a bit of a walk but very nice! The staff are wonderful! The road to get there is a little winding but not enough to keep us from coming back.
