We’ve been coming here for three years and, until recently, it was an easy 5-star experience. Unfortunately, since the campground was bought by Modern America Campgrounds, we won’t be returning. The staff has become noticeably less friendly. One worker actually yelled at us for driving 5 mph—exactly the posted speed limit—while we’ve seen that same employee speeding around on a golf cart well above the limit. The double standard was frustrating and unprofessional. This campground used to feel warm and welcoming. Staff members remembered returning guests and made you feel valued. Now check-in is handled by disinterested teens who answer questions with “I don’t know.” It no longer has the same charm. Prices have also become unreasonable—$8 for five small pieces of firewood is excessive. Between the lack of hospitality and inflated costs, this no longer feels like the relaxing getaway it once was. For those spending their hard-earned money and precious family time, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Campground was nice.sites were decent, everyone was nice. And it was quiet . The reason I'm not giving it a 5 star review is due to the pine tree, sap was everywhere I mean everywhere. And personally I think there was a little to much trash on the ground,

Was a fan of Riverbend before it was bought by the new management. People with developmental disabilities should never be outcasted or called out for being different especially upon a campgrounds negligence. Ignorance isn’t a good quality when it’s reflected in management and it can become toxic so you’ve lost my business along with many people I know. You don’t call people with disabilities… grou... A bit too congested for me. Jammed to many people into a small area. No privacy at all Much better was state parks in Rhode Island just over the border. I could go without the running water and electricity at the site for a little more privacy. I could have set a tent up in my backyard and had more privacy and more quiet. I could have set a tent up in my backyard and had more privacy and more quiet. If you like a camp site with 50 people around you. And I’m being nice. It probably was more. Then this is for you. But if you are looking for a good camping experience then this is not the place. The store was nice. And close. Like everything and everyone.
