We visited this campground in search of a seasonal camp site. This place was an absolute dump. The majority of the sites (near the lake) had rotting campers with built-in porches which were also falling apart. We visited this campground in search of a seasonal camp site. This place was an absolute dump. The majority of the sites (near the lake) had rotting campers with built-in porches which were also falling apart. The sites off the lake were not much better because it looked like a beat=up trailer park. The grounds are unkept, the bathrooms where old and dirty and the entire campground only offers water and electric. You have to pay for a honey wagon to dump your tanks. We spoke with a current seasonal camper and they reported the electricity frequently short circuits when 2 campers on the same line run their AC units at that same time. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because not all people provide accurate information however, most of the poorly scored comments are true. I wouldn't even waste your time at this campground unless you have minimal to no standards for a campground. To top it all off the person running the office could not offer any information about the campground itself.

We really love it here. It is a no frills campground, yet has everything you need. The cost of a seasonal site is so affordable. They mow for you as well. Everyone is respectful & quite when they need to be. The owners are easy to approach. People have stayed for years upon years here. They pool is kept clean although you might get an occasional mouthy kiddo. Where don't you really?

If I could put less than one star I would. Do not come here. It is a dump. The campers look like they have been here since 1970. Shacks built next to them are falling apart with tarps covering them. People are rude...music blaring, dogs barking excessively, burning plastic and trash, etc. The pool area had music playing with nasty language not suitable for families. The lake is a field. Shall I go... If I could put less than one star I would. Do not come here. It is a dump. The campers look like they have been here since 1970.
