Our 1st stay here which we really enjoyed. The sites are tight but the location, the views, the friendly helpfull staff and the immaculate upkeep make up for the size of the sites. We stayed on the water and the view from our class B was incredible, especially at sunrise. We stayed on the water and the view from our class B was incredible, especially at sunrise. I caught 2 barracuda from directly behind our rig (I literally could have fished from the bed) We rented a golf cart which made our multiple trips in to town fun and easy. The Cuban coffee and sandwiches at the on-site food truck was excellent. One thing to note is noise from the jet traffic around the nearby airforce base which didn't bother us. We enjoyed watching fighter jets flying maneuvers and in formation. Jets flew from about 8 am till 5 pm. We're coming back next winter for a longer visit.

From the moment you drive into Boyd’s Campground, the level of professionalism and pride is unmistakable. We were personally escorted to our campsite to make sure our rig was parked perfectly—and even asked if there was anything else we needed help with. That attention to detail immediately sets Boyd’s apart. The campground is immaculate. The campsites are spotless, and the showers and bathrooms... We were personally escorted to our campsite to make sure our rig was parked perfectly—and even asked if there was anything else we needed help with. That attention to detail immediately sets Boyd’s apart. The campground is immaculate. The campsites are spotless, and the showers and bathrooms are hands-down the cleanest we’ve seen in all of our travels. Boyd’s also offers great amenities, including a well-stocked store, a pavilion that fosters a real sense of community, and a swimming pool to cool off and relax. Don’t sleep on the food truck, Deluna’s cafe! We had a delicious breakfast here! A huge shout-out to Dan, who truly went above and beyond. While we were walking down the street to grab dinner, he pulled up in his golf cart and offered us a ride the rest of the way—completely unnecessary, but a perfect example of the exceptional service and genuine hospitality that Boyd’s inspires. Dan is a rockstar!!! We can’t recommend Boyd’s Campground enough. If you’re heading to Key West, this is absolutely the place!!!

I have been going to Boyd’s since the early 2000’s and I can honestly say it has never looked better. They have made many upgrades including new power and water/ waste lines. The grounds are lush and green. Two things stand out though: some of the full service hookups were poorly placed so it is difficult to take full advantage of them or if you do, you find yourself intruding on your neighbors s... The grounds are lush and green. Two things stand out though: some of the full service hookups were poorly placed so it is difficult to take full advantage of them or if you do, you find yourself intruding on your neighbors space. This adds to the feel that you are camping in a parking lot with palm trees. While they offer WiFi, there are so many RVs taking advantage of the service that you may be lucky to stream much. Our speed check showed 3 Mbps last night with 7-10 on subsequent evenings. As the old saying goes though, location, location, location- the proximity to Key West is unmatched and it is an easy ride into town. If you wish for a five star camping experience, visit the KOA campground on Sugarloaf key, just 16 miles away. Their sites are private, well appointed with brand new bathrooms and a most inviting restaurant/bar by the pool. Pluses: friendly and helpful staff, awesome food truck, RV mechanic available

We found Boyd’s while wedding planning- we knew it was going to be a small micro wedding with just immediate family and ran into issues. We did two sites both tent, one primitive, one regular. We saw on their site to ask about reserving their pavilion- so we did! They hadn’t been asked about that before and never for wedding but they let us reserve it and it was beautiful- my groom, best man and my brother cooked at camp (lots of food allergies we had to mindful of). My moh, best man and I decorated the pavilion- I should have asked for sizes, I didn’t want to be “that person” and annoy them before we even got there, tables are bigger than the standard so my table covers didn’t fit. But realized that I could have asked and they would have found time to get the info.We used the ceiling curtains as the backdrop to close off the kitchen area. Some of our guests camped, his family did a hotel. After the wedding, we took over a campsite and stayed as a little honeymoon. Fellow campers were amazing, respectful. The staff was great- they checked in to see if we needed anything, wanted wedding details, made friends with our dog! They were so great that we wanted them to enjoy our cake and dinner, he made way too much for the reception. The grounds are kept up, bathrooms are clean and have nice hot water not just warm enough but hot after driving 36 hours. Views were too die for, we kept the primitive site and got great views of sunrise. I could easily stay there by myself and feel comfortable. Staff are always helpful and wanting to help if needed. Bathrooms, showers and trash are always close by, poop bags for the pups easy to find. Deluna’s cafe has great food, coffee, owners are great, she met me day of wedding so I was out of it but next day welcomed me asked if I wanted the same thing as yesterday, asked about the wedding. We’re already planning our 1st anniversary- staying there but flying in and possibly renting a small house they have instead of spending time with tent set up tear down. I want to travel but my ptsd and anxiety make being in new places terrifying, this felt comfortable, I was able to sleep without help, enjoy some amazing views and met great people some turned into friends that checked in on us during our roadtrip back to WI.

Boyd’s Campground was an amazing place to stay in the Florida Keys. The location is ideal for exploring Key West while still having a quiet, relaxed campground to come back to. Everything was clean, well cared for, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We loved the water views, sunrise mornings, and overall easygoing vibe. One of our favorite stays in the Keys and definitely a place we’d return... Boyd’s Campground was an amazing place to stay in the Florida Keys.
