And, about 20-30 minutes after the fireworks show, they have the nightly electric boat parade which is fun. I've camped here several times and would recommend it to any who are looking to an alternative to staying at one of the resorts. To me, it's the best of both worlds: I love camping & you're on Disney property so you have access to all the public transportation they offer (buses).

We stayed at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort from February 2–16, 2025, and it was truly an amazing experience. We were in Site 1721, a back-in site with a concrete pad, full hookups, a picnic table, and a BBQ grill. The site was very spacious, with plenty of room for our RV, our truck and car parked in front, and even extra space for our rented golf cart. We never felt cramped, and everything was... The grounds are beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. From transportation to the parks, to pools, dining, recreation, and activities, everything is conveniently available. Having a golf cart made it even more fun and easy to explore the property. What really stood out was how peaceful and relaxing the campground felt, while still being right in the middle of the Disney experience. It truly offers the best of both worlds, nature and comfort combined with Disney magic. This was one of my favorite campgrounds out of all the places we’ve stayed. The combination of space, amenities, atmosphere, and location made our stay unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Fort Wilderness to anyone traveling with an RV or looking for a unique Disney resort experience. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this campground!!

There used to be nature trails and ways to get to the fort wilderness lodge through a lovely biking trail through woods- but that’s been closed for years as they keep adding to the vacation resort. Construction has made all but a small trail by the beach off limits and it’s been like this for years with no signs of stopping. So great location for visiting the parks but if you want to do anything else, go elsewhere.
