Exceptional primitive camping experience. Drive on tram road to site parking was a little rocky, but not an issue. ~~1.3 mile hike to site. Serene environment and excellent for viewing stars at the gravel mound. Nearby trails held diverse views. Heard lots of wildlife at night as well.

This is an interesting primitive camp in an isolated part of the Arbuckle Tract with two sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring. You cross Livingston Creek on a small foot bridge and the camp is not very far away. Although this is called an island it is actually a seasonal island. When the area to the west is flooded in the wet season it forms a high spot surrounded by water on all sides.
