Such a great spot to live! Quiet with lots of trees and wildlife. Honestly I came here for the internet (fiber optic) because I work from home, and it’s fantastic, great speeds, but the peace of this place is what keeps me here. The laundry room and workout equipment are great, you can use the planter boxes to plant veggies and flowers, and the magnolia tree gives the best shade to have a picnic.... I love that it is gated and close enough to town, but with the peace of the country. Don’t pass it up!

This place was a huge mistake. I was looking for a place to turn a shed into a tiny home and after talking to both owners fully explaining what my intentions were, they said I could put the shed there. I was looking for a place to turn a shed into a tiny home and after talking to both owners fully explaining what my intentions were, they said I could put the shed there. So I made arrangements for the shed to be taken there which was over 100 miles and paid a full month’s rent for the spot. The company came to deliver the shed and for some reason their driver decided to drive across the grass instead of staying on the driveway after I told their driver twice to stay off the grass (owners have many signs throughout park that states to keep off the grass. Also cameras everywhere so they can watch the residents ). Since the driver didn’t listen, they got their delivery truck stuck in the grass near a septic area that was wet. They took about an hour to get the truck out but left some deep ruts in the dirt. I made sure that I took photos of everything and sent them all the phone numbers I had for them to contact the company to figure out the repair to be done. This park is out in the country, mind you, and it’s just normal grass, not sod, or golf course grass. The drivers got the shed set in place and left. After being yelled at by a resident there, wondering why I was bringing a shed there, I got a nasty message from one of the owners about the ruts AND about how they thought my shed was on wheels when I told them it was a shed on skids and would be blocked up, weeks before delivery. One owner messaged me threatening that if the assessment got fined, I would be responsible for the fine. I was told literally minutes after the delivery drivers left. ( Still being glared at by the resident that yelled at me who was standing in her yard on her phone obviously calling the owners to complain) I quickly looked in the shed and left. I no longer felt welcome so I never returned. I had the shed picked up leaving about 10 days credit for my lot rent. She obviously didn’t want to refund it, because, her first words were “did they bring the dirt?”. I assumed she made arrangements with the company to have some dirt delivered. I told her I knew nothing about it. She proceeded to tell me that if they don’t pay it, she’s keeping my money to pay for some dirt. Now, the ruts in the dirt could have easily been leveled out with a shovel in 20 minutes, but she kept almost $200 owed back to me for some dirt.. these people cost me over $1k because they didn’t pay attention to what I explained to them then refused to give my money owed back over some displaced dirt. Be careful. They seem nice at first but will refuse to let any $$$ go back to you. They will find something to charge you so they can keep it.

I have been living in this park for 2 years . I absolutely love living here . Laurie and Jeff are awesome people and they go above and beyond for the tenets. Plenty of shade for your RV , gated property . And so quiet . You can do pretty much anything in your space . Keep it clean and follow the rules , how hard is that ? I love living here .

I moved to Lake Kiowa RV Park mid July and have been so content and living one of the best RV lives possible . Jeff and Laurie have been working so hard to make this one little oasis in the country. The view from each site is wonderful and it was hard to pick just one. The chickens are getting ready to lay which means fresh eggs to go with your morning coffee! Fall will bring more great things to... I moved to Lake Kiowa RV Park mid July and have been so content and living one of the best RV lives possible . We booked a 6 month stay and she told us the site had a two car limit, it had a back yard area and she was very nice. No backyard area..we were immediately informed after our arrival and completely hot and long site set up that only one car. Ugh!!.. that night which was night 2 our power went out every 10 seconds and it was 110 in Texas. I texted her the next morning that it had issues. She blamed our rig and said the entire pedestal was brand new. It was soooo not... Then, instead of helping to diagnose and resolve the problem, she suggested that we need to leave and go to somewhere else. I said now.. she said right away . I'm like we need time to reverse the process we just finished. Can we run our generator...she said no...I'm calling the sheriff. And she did...toxic.....people This cost us almost $200 in Uber fees alone as we have a motorcycle a truck and the class a to move on the fly twice in 3 days. She also charged us $120 for the so called electric and prorated rent...for this luxury adventure. Thanks Laurie Oh, and at our new spot, both ACs have been running as well as they can with no breaker tripping, so clearly not an issue with our rig.
