Bainbridge is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Florida weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Bainbridge.

This place just makes you have a great day!! They have a nice drive around the park with hiking trails and lakes along the drive! They have horseback riding here as well as Segway tours, bicycling around the park, and kayaking on the gorgeous lake with the alligators!! A fun place to spend the day!

Less than five stars for a few reasons; the amount of noncampers speeding through the rv camping area and hanging out ,parking in the handicap parking spaces without the appropriate license plate/tag /plackard. It would be nice to have a spot that only campers can fish so its less crowded or maybe give some tickets. Womens rv camping showers never got hot or even warm. Ther are no fans in the hadi... Ther are no fans in the hadicap stalls! There are often loud noises like explosions heard late at night. Some of the rv spots are very narrow. Rangers and staff are friendly and helpful but I think they need more honest employees to help with maintenance, there are alot of visitors and the current people that clean the camping restrooms seems like a scam, they take an unnecessarily long time and wont let us use the cleaned toilets when they are going to make a 30 minute task, take two hours. Thats dishonorable way to get volunteer time. Most of the visitors using the rv spots dont follow the park rules and it seems like they dont care what kind of rv, age, or whatsoever is camped in if you volunteer. There is a group of people at the rv sites that literally hooked up a window air conditioner to a pop-up awning wrapped with tarps and have tarps blocking view from their site and looks like maybe a flood light at night still on at 6am, pretty sure its rv site 19, loop b. I made this reservation so that I would avoid rvs/ campers like that but might as well be overnighting in a walmart parking lot. Fishing is 👍, watchout for the alligators and local cyclists in spandex that will harass you.

This loop in the campground is nice with several large, pull through sites. The bath house on this loop was clean and well maintained. Our site had a lot of shade and privacy. There was even a little trail right at the end of our site down to the lake. The only thing that could have made our site better would have been if it were full hook up (but we knew when booking that it wasn't, so that's no...
