Altoona is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

The only reason and I mean the only reason for not 5 stars is it's close to the the Hwy and you hear all the Hwy traffic, especially early morning. Other than that the place is super cute and very beautiful grounds with all the moss trees. It's extremely well maintained and the host was there to greet us with a smile and an invitation to a park hot dog cook out. Dog park gets 10 stars...

Very nice park with pond. Right off hwy 19. The owners are very nice and friendly. They have a central fire pit with bench swings around to sit on that are prettily lit up at night. A fenced in dog park, clubhouse where the rv community meet to play games. Very reasonably priced. They also have small cabins to rent. I definitely recommend this park.

This park is right off the highway. But the noise is not a big deal at night. The park has potential but not quite there yet. The owners are really nice. But we did ask if they had a bathroom on site and were told not really to later find out from another camper that their was one stall no shower in the club house which is more of storage shed. I will give them a 10 for the Dog Park, one of the ni... This park is right off the highway. But the noise is not a big deal at night. The park has potential but not quite there yet. I will give them a 10 for the Dog Park, one of the nicest weve seen. Not much todo around, so it serves its purpose for an overnight if that is all youre looking for. We camped at Old Highway 19 RV Park in a Motorhome

Look no further! We were on a roadtrip with our two dogs from Texas to Florida and were so happy to find the perfect RV park! We booked at the last minute and were pleased to have full hookups! All of the spots are easy to pull through and are all very close to the fishing hole, dog park and amenities! We felt so safe and relaxed here, we can’t recommend it enough!
