The campground is very well maintained, with clean facilities and beautifully shaded sites that make it comfortable even during warmer days. The restrooms and bathhouses were consistently spotless, which is always a top priority when camping. The shaded areas throughout the property provide a relaxing atmosphere, and the pools are a fantastic bonus; clean, refreshing, and perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. What truly sets this campground apart is the friendly and welcoming service. The staff is helpful, attentive, and clearly committed to making guests feel at home. Overall, Raccoon River Campground is a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Panama City Beach. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to fellow campers looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed campground!

This place is fantastic! Pricing was great being that it is so close to the beach. We loved the vintage bathrooms and they were very clean! The cats are awesome even though I am allergic to cats I enjoyed seeing them around they don’t bother you at all. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The owners of this place are very hateful. They have made a policy that does not allow you to stay in your vehicle. And the people working there say it's considered car camping and that's illegal and it is illegal if you're on the street. but it is not illegal if you're at a paid Campground. They lied to me and said they could get fined. That's a bunch of BS. they made that rule because that's pri... The owners of this place are very hateful. Oh and by the way they came by at 6:30 at night. After they had already rented me the place to tell me I wasn't welcome. They said they thought I had a different rig. The place isn't that nice anyway. It's kind of dirty.

Dogs are supposed to be leashed and under their owners’ control at all times, but the rules are clearly not enforced here. When I reported the incident, the manager was completely worthless.
