I could see the camp host's site, the restrooms, some nice picnic tables, shelters/pavilions, primitive camping sites, a wooden bridge, and the impressive boardwalk/dock/canoe launch. This is a really nice structure overlooking the black water Suwannee. There were a couple of kayaks pulled up on the sandy shore. I didn't get to explore the occupied areas of the camp due to not having my dog on a leash. Signs say "Pets allowed on leash only." The camp is very nice with facilities in great condition. What an awesome place to camp/rest/explore along the river.

I’m so impressed with this camp site. The well stocked bathroom is super clean and has a shower and hot water. There’s a sink and counter for washing dishes. We stayed in the primitive camp site area where there’s a fire pit and grill with a griddle. We came by canoe and there’s a long ramp (approximately 400 ft) to the camp sites but they have wheel barrels and wagons that you can use to bring your supplies up. For our group of 8, it was nice to stay on the primitive side where we had the entire place to ourselves. However we were able to use all the amenities. We especially want to thank our host, Billy who went out of his way to make our spay extra special. At the dish washing sink, he provided a coffee maker with coffee, sugar, and creamer. He also provided a waffle maker if you wanted to. Since we originally planned for a true primitive camping, we had all needed equipment and supplies. But then Billy went into to town to get us cinnamon rolls because we had a hankering for them. The stay is free with suggested donations of $5/pp per night. In addition to donating to the park to help maintain the park, we gave Billy some “thank you” tips as he doesn’t get paid to be the amazing host. Highly recommended!

Just a gem of a campsite, paddle right up, clean facilities and well kept, super sweet ranger who welcomed us. Firewood was available for a very, very reasonable price, will return and loved everything about it.
