We stayed 5 nights, full service and loved it. Their little twosome table and chairs next to the fire pit and the lovely piece of property next to our site was so tastefully done. We’d highly recommend. Close to stores, state park, lovely towns nearby too and the fabulous Cumberland island where we spent a day.

This is a super quiet little park with very nice staff and neighbors. We seemed to get here at the tail end of the "seasonal period" and it appeared that there were quite a few people who has been hunkered down for a while. During our 4 week stay, we did see a LOT of turnover however, so the park has very few permanent residents. It also seemed like based on our timing, the park was just "waking up". When we first arrived, it did not appear like the landscaping was maintained very well, with lots of overgrown weeds, Spanish Moss hanging so low you need to duck, dead leaves covering everything on the ground, and we had to get a pole to lift up some tree limbs in order to extend one of our slides. We did notice after about a week, that they began doing some landscape cleanup work at the other end of the park working towards us. On our last week, we did see them raking at the site across from us, so I think we just had bad timing to see the park in it's prime. The good side to the trees was that we were well shaded and protected from the storms and high winds that came through the area while we were here. The ladies in the office were super sweet and very accommodating. Electric "browned out" one time when one leg of our 50 amp got low on voltage, and the water pressure seemed to ebb and flow, but was sufficient on most days. Dog park was kinda small and no grass, with other places within the park that would have made a better spot for it, but plenty of grass for them throughout the park, so it wasn't an issue. Easy access to highways for checking out the area, and lots to do in St Mary's plus surrounding areas both north and south. We consider this a solid "B" park, and would stay here again if we were coming through, and really enjoyed having the concrete pads and paved roads versus gravel, just wish they were a little wider for the size of our rig. We camped at A Big Wheel RV Park in a Motorhome.

So be sure to bring your bicycles because biking over to the State Park for a game of putt-putt or some dippin’ dots might just become part of your daily routine! (It did for us at least LOL) We honestly cannot wait to return.

Our family was just out for a drive and thought we would check it out. Very unwelcoming committee. I guess I could have read it all wrong and she was just being informative, but I'm not sure .. Nice homey feeling place though, quiet, clean, and kinda spaced out, but not much.

Great place for overnight or for a month or two. State park across the road for plenty of hiking and bike riding. Plenty of room to walk dogs plus it has a fence in area for dogs to play. Clean restrooms and laundry, plus they fill propane tanks.
