This was a busy campground. The camp ground was well laid out and well kept. I loved the pond. The dogs and I really enjoyed the walking path. It looked like there is ongoing improvements being made. The restrooms were clean. The staff was very nice.

So us being 1000 trail members, we tried out KOA and boy. Were we surprised? Did a 4 month trip from Florida to Canada? All over and back down 1000 trails. Did a 4 month trip from Florida to Canada? All over and back down 1000 trails. And private rv resorts, all the way through. We decided since we came back in our home state. We would try campgrounds of America. And we are pleasantly surprised. This place is by far better than any 1000 trails. We have been to also in a perfect location. 3 miles from the city, half a mile from the beach. The grounds were clean. The bathrooms were clean. The original bathroom is old style. But still clean, they have a new, updated modernized bathroom in the middle of the park. I want to say all the employee's were great. The lady who checked us in the man who got us to our site. All the maintenance crew were steadily working at this site. Constantly cutting down trees, cutting grass blowing leaves, cleaning the pool, making sure everything was KO. A standards and I have to say we are now KOA member. We decided to buy the membership and receive our 10% off on future stays while gaining points with each stay. Thanks again K away for putting a great tape. Waste in our mouth since 1000 trails had us bitter.

Bathrooms and showers were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location, close to beaches and restaurants. Easy to get in and out of the KOA. Dog friendly. Only negative was the closeness of the campsites.
