Wildwood is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

Very clean park with two nice walking trails. Spacious boat/kayak ramp. Park benches for breaks throughout the trail. Picnic tables were open. Dog friendly. People fishing along the river. Saw a guy catch a catfish. No gators or manatees but there was quite a bit of human activity so probably not a bad thing. The kids playground looked fun.

Beautiful state park of the water. Can access by boat or car. The Picnic area has restrooms, paved and non-paved accessible picnic tables. Plenty of wildlife and a few bench around for resting areas.

Pretty and peaceful, some walking trails, kayaks for rent and boat tours. Plenty of picnic tables. The biggest oak tree in Florida has its house here.

I've driven by here a 100 times, finally decided to check it out. The park is small, but packs a big punch. Nice pavilions, nice boat launch, great trail, and of course the BIG oak tree.

This is a nice park, except for the fact that it does not have much to do unless you’re going to be boating. It does have the second largest oak tree which takes about 5 min to look at and then a small trail that is over in under an hour. We also did a 1 hour boat tour that was fun, but basically everything you can do here takes about 2 hours tops. Everything was clean, the staff was awesome and t... Everything was clean, the staff was awesome and the camp sites were nice sized and had good tree coverage. If you plan to stay they day/night here then you will have a fun time, but anything more then a day and you will not have anything to do.
