Suncoast RV Resort

My husband & I drove 65 miles to come check out Suncoast RV as it looked very nice on the site. We saw older reviews on an app that said the park doesn't enforce the rules and it looks "dumpy" because of this so we wanted to check it out since the renovations. It was very nice when driving in & the amenities looked nice as well. But after driving around, it seems as though the park allows ANYTHING... It was very nice when driving in & the amenities looked nice as well. But after driving around, it seems as though the park allows ANYTHING. Kind of in shock that you would have such a beautiful park with campers that had junk stacked outside. And their were several like this but We drove by a site that even had a broke down pickup truck, flat tires & the truck bed (and outside) was clearly being used for storage! This was be OK if the lots were 1/2 the price that they are charging but over $900 a month? No way! Especially for smaller spaces. No one wants to live close to lots like tjese. Hopefully, management will address this quickly because that's how other parks that we've stayed in have gone down hill, and quickly. Pretty park, good location, pretty amenties-but looks like zero enforcement of rules. No thank you!

I chose this park because it advertised a "dog park" and I have a large service dog. I drove through and didnt see the dog park but i chose it for the shade, plus it's just a beautiful park. I figured I would just find the dog park once i was here. Apparently they haven't started on the dog park they advertise having, yet. They do have what I guess could be called a holding pen for the dogs? Ev... I chose this park because it advertised a "dog park" and I have a large service dog. I drove through and didnt see the dog park but i chose it for the shade, plus it's just a beautiful park. I figured I would just find the dog park once i was here. Apparently they haven't started on the dog park they advertise having, yet. They do have what I guess could be called a holding pen for the dogs? Everything was great for the first 4 months. Then something changed. Had to take all my lights down. Maybe it was just an off-season thing? Idk, no explanation was given. Almost been here a year now and still no closer to having an actual "dog park." Its still a beautiful park and lots of shade. But dont expect to go swimming unless it's during office hours only and dont expect to be able to let your dogs run. You still have to make at least a 15 minute drive for that.

We have stayed here winter season for 2 years, now stay annual. The park is beautiful, trees are mature and lush. Cathy the park manager is polite and does her job well. The new clubhouse is beautiful, and the pool has been upgraded to a salt water pool. The pavilion has been redone and painted. Activities are based on what the campers would like to do, a monthly newsletter is put out, if you w... We have stayed here winter season for 2 years, now stay annual. Winter months are busiest, cookouts and campfires. We love it here!

She stopped what she was doing to help me. Suncoast RV Resort is in good hands with Cheryl. She went beyond her duties and responsibilities.
