Not too bad of a hike. Some places can be slippery. The waterfalls are worth the effort. I would recommend going in the spring or after a good rain.

Great trail with multiple waterfalls. This is a well marked, somewhat easy to moderate trail suitable for most age ranges. An in and the Out trail that runs about 1.1 miles in so 2.2 round trip. Trail head has limited parking so if the campground is open you may want to park there.

The trail is easy except for the log jam.

I’d say 80% of this trail is on the easy scale. If you park at the “free” pull-off area along Lake Rabun Rd there is a somewhat precarious point at the beginning as you cross the first stream. If you park at the “free” pull-off area along Lake Rabun Rd there is a somewhat precarious point at the beginning as you cross the first stream. Its steep and muddy. There is also a fallen tree that must be climbed over. But this can all be circumvented by beginning the trail at the camp/picnic area down the road. Out and back took me about an hour and a half. Though i hike faster than most. The most challenging part would be towards the top; past Panther Falls and on the final stretch to Angel Falls. It gets steep, sometimes muddy, and parts aren’t too well maintained as of 2/2025. There are some unguarded and narrow switchback paths that could be dangerous if you’re not sure-footed. If you’re mobility challenged you might consider stopping at Panther Falls, but if you’ve got good feet and good shoes or just brazen.. a good walking stick will get you to the top. It is worth it. Great hike.

Fun, easy, and interesting hike to Panther Falls which is on the way to Angle Falls. Panther was beautiful and the water was nice and cool. It was super refreshing after the hike up. Angle Falls is a steeper climb and the fall was covered by tons of vegetation. It’s probably spectacular in the colder months when the leaves are gone. I highly recommend this trail!
