Camp Chatuga

Our daughter LOVES Camp Chatuga. This was her second year and she will be returning for many more! Chatuga has AMAZING staff, and I love that it gives kids the opportunity to socialize with new people from all over and offers activities that they may not have access to at home. This was her second year and she will be returning for many more! Chatuga has AMAZING staff, and I love that it gives kids the opportunity to socialize with new people from all over and offers activities that they may not have access to at home. My daughter looks forward to camp allllll year long. Her first year, she had a medical issue pop up while at camp and the staff took such good care of her, communicated with me often, and sent me personal photos of her while hanging out with the nurses. I would highly recommend Chatuga to anyone looking for a super fun, safe, and reliable camp. We were very nervous sending her the first year, she stayed a whole week at 6 years old. When it was time to pick her up, she didn’t even want to come home! She would spend her entire summer there if we let her!

The staff at camp is incredible and have found a really great balance for first time campers’ families with how they communicate about how the campers are doing. They are very responsive and helpful and consistently go the extra mile. We’ll be back next summer for sure! Our family highly recommends Chatuga!
