DUCKETT MILL

Awesome campground. Great views easy access to the lake from your site. We camped late October and the trees were beautiful. My husband decided to canoe from Bolding Mill campground to Duckett Mill after we checked out took him 4 hours with a 20 minute break and I had a welcome crew ready to greet him. We had such a great time and campground was so quiet until the guests at site 11 arrived 😒 cons... Awesome campground. Great views easy access to the lake from your site. We had such a great time and campground was so quiet until the guests at site 11 arrived 😒 constantly being rude, purposely walking across our “driveway” and staring at our belongings made me feel uncomfortable. With the exception of the last 2 uncomfortable nights our stay was perfect and the staff was helpful and friendly

This was our first time camping at Duckett Mill. Overall, it was a decent campground. Most, if not all of the sites, have water views or access. We reserved site 77. It was nice, but a bit busier than we would've liked, as it was on a turnaround and was just far enough from the restrooms that many of our neighbors drove to them. We'd likely stay here again. Although, we'll probably check out so... This was our first time camping at Duckett Mill. Overall, it was a decent campground. Most, if not all of the sites, have water views or access. We stayed her for what was supposed to be an amazing weekend. But a lot of the campsites have bee hives at them especially the one we stayed at(74). I’m allergic to bees so i called the gate attendants to let them know know about the bees and my allergy& that there were atleast 10 swarming constantly. About 30 mins later a man shows up looks around an asks me where’s the hive we had no clue as i w... We stayed her for what was supposed to be an amazing weekend. He said he couldn’t help if we didn’t know where the hive was because we “are living in their home”. He left without doing anything and advised we cook/eat everything is in our tent since that’s what he does. Less than 24 hours and an epi pen later we spend 2 hours to pack up & tell the gate attendants what happened. No response from them, no refund, not a care in the world even after telling them about me getting stung and having to use the pen. I would literally camp anywhere else
