We stay here every year for our “Friendsgiving” Great park, very clean and well kept. Sites are level with full hook ups. Please follow the directions on their website for big rig access. Well located for visiting the local area around Hiawassee.

I called 2 weeks in advance to cancel a portion of our reservation. They told me no problem. Unfortunately I had to cancel the last portion of our stay but only gave them a 6 day cancellation notice. They refused to return my $ deposit or even half of the deposit. It's a campground not a 5 star resort and I understand that but don't agree on them not even returning half the deposit. It's not even... I called 2 weeks in advance to cancel a portion of our reservation. They told me no problem. Unfortunately I had to cancel the last portion of our stay but only gave them a 6 day cancellation notice. They refused to return my $ deposit or even half of the deposit. This campground is wonderful. Spacious gravel, flat sites, individual internet, full hook-up, pavilion w/kitchen, many riverfront sites and great location! A real gem!

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of River Bend Campground. Road to: If you are coming from the south, all roads are curvy and steep. I would not recommend driving from Helen to campground. Way to steep. Come from Clayton. Road inside: Paved and gravel and in good condition. Trees: All well trimmed. Check in: Medium size office short distance from entrance. Ever... Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of River Bend Campground.
