I LOVED it, as my first summer camp it was a great, fun, nice, and friendly time. The staff was nice, I loved the archery staff, very friendly and was nice to make friends with *personal opinion*. The food was nice and the view the dining hall has was beautiful everyday. One thing! If you don't like walking up a hill, sorry, it has a tall hill to walk up. I can't wait to staff for the 2026 summer camp year in woodruff!! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

Great camp lots to do. But make sure you check out the waterfront activities. Sailing, kayaking, whitewater rafting merit badges.

Just an amazing Scout Camp and experience. Top notch facilities, fine instruction, great food and activities for all! The weather is a reprieve from the Deep South! Lows in the 50s, highs in the 80s, low humidity. A beautiful lake, real mountains and the trading post is as nice as any REI or outfitter. Cannot recommend a scout camp any higher. We’ve been to camps all over the southeast. This on... Just an amazing Scout Camp and experience. Top notch facilities, fine instruction, great food and activities for all! This is an amazing place Woodruff Scout camp. It is hard to explain the grandeur of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the experience young people have in their week at camp. 1400 acres specifically designed to manage each scout’s journey during this time at camp.

Great Boy Scout Summer camp! My troop came here for the first time this year, and immediately decided we would continue in the next years. Good staff, great facilities, and an overall excellent experience.
