Outstanding KOA Experience We’re staying at KOA Savannah South Campground for a few days, and after staying here last week, we were so impressed that we came back again after purchasing our RV from Southland RV. This is truly one of the nicest KOAs we’ve ever stayed at. The campground is extremely well thought out, with a completely separate section for overnight RVers, another area dedicated to long-term RV guests, and—toward the back—nearly a hundred cabins available for monthly rentals. Despite the size, everything is immaculate and beautifully maintained. The long-term sites are especially impressive. While guests clearly personalize their spaces, there is no clutter at all, and the sites are well-spaced so everyone has a comfortable, roomy campsite. The entire park feels clean, organized, and peaceful. One of the most beautiful features of this property is the lake that borders the campground. It includes a small island, a fountain, several large and elegant swans, and a large population of migrating waterfowl. No matter where you are in the park, you’re only a few steps away from this serene and peaceful setting—it really adds to the overall sense of relaxation here. The dog park is another standout feature. It’s fully fenced, beautifully maintained, and features clean, comfortable astroturf. Like the rest of the campground, it’s obvious that a lot of care goes into keeping it spotless and welcoming for both pets and their owners. What truly sets this KOA apart, though, is the staff. The assistant general manager, Cassandra, the entire front desk team and as well as all the campground staff, are exceptionally professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. From check-in to any questions we had during our stay, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. This campground is clearly very well managed, and it shows in every detail. We highly recommend KOA Savannah South and will absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Savannah South KOA. We were greeted by Anita and Kasandra and they made the sign in process very easy. The sites were all concrete and level. Laundry room was neat and tidy and everything worked well, Bathrooms & showers were very clean and the water hot. There was a great dog area for our puppies to run around in.
