Little River Park

Great place! I move around from here to there with my job. I've been in some low budget campgrounds and some campground/ trailer parks in my travels, so my opinion on this place may not meet everyone's experiences. But I can tell you that here is a really good place to rest, retreat or stay for a while. I've paid more in lot rent before and been confined to basically an HOA and with no amenities l... But I can tell you that here is a really good place to rest, retreat or stay for a while. I've paid more in lot rent before and been confined to basically an HOA and with no amenities like here. This place has rules but they also allow you to live like an actual human being. And man, being surrounded on three sides by water AND having boat access, ice machine, bait shop and store, laundry room, bath house, trash and utilities included for the price is damn good. I don't feel we're slammed together as some people have mentioned. We're close together but it isn't like a two step now we met type of space like some neighborhoods that people pay thousands for. It's a good mix of people from those that are a little bit better well off to those on the budget side of things. I personally like both and am very happy here. And side note, the staff..super cool. Right off the bat when I reserved my lot Teresa filled me in with all the details and talked to me like no one's a stranger. Lake life ✌🏻

We had some difficulty navigating our 32 foot motorhome in this park. I made a reservation on the phone with a really nice lady a few hours before we arrived. The entrance could use some smoothing out, and signs pointing to the office for check in would be great. I believe the office lady was out to lunch, so I checked in with another really nice lady, however, there was no map ready for us with d... So the lady and I figured it out together, but because the road was steep, we made some serious tire tracks into the site (sorry!!!). But it was a nice place to walk around with the dog. Lots of long term guests there. It was quiet at night. Good price.

We usually camp at state park campgrounds, which usually have larger sites, or at a super nice private one in Brunswick, GA. So, for those comparisons, I have to rate this one 3.5 stars. I would go back if I was ever in the area. The folks running the place were really nice so I would rate them 4-5 stars. The laundry room would get 5 stars, but the restrooms only 3 stars as they were just ok, but... The main thing I did NOT like were the boats that were loud & noisy (most weren't, but one in particular was awful & definitely disturbed the peace!). P.S. We sailed on Lake Sinclair is and it is beautiful!!!
