Since it was the off-season, there weren’t many people, which made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and made both check-in and check-out quick and easy. Even with fewer guests, it was great to see activities still being offered in the Grand View Hall. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but the food looked delicious, and the family area was a great place to hang out and snap a few pictures. The bar had good drinks, and the prices were very reasonable. Everything on the property was extremely clean, including all of the bathrooms and showers. We stayed at a “buddy site,” which allows campers to be door-to-door. That setup was fantastic it made it easy to visit with friends and family without having to walk around another camper. The walking trail leading to the restaurant and Grand View Hall was paved and well maintained. The dog park was under construction during our stay, but after speaking with staff, we’re excited to see the upcoming improvements. All campsites are paved and include nice picnic tables and cast iron fire pits. There are also a few group pavilions with gas grills and large cast iron fire pits, which would be perfect for gatherings. I personally liked the location, though I did hear a few guests mention they weren’t a fan of being close to Walmart and other businesses. We knew this ahead of time and planned accordingly. We also enjoy more off-the-grid camping at times, but sometimes we enjoy a different camp setting. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a little luxury in your camper. The views are beautiful, and there’s plenty to do nearby, including hiking, shopping, restaurants, vineyards, and seasonal orchards all just a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay so much that we told our friends, and we’re already all booked again for October 2026!

Both times we stayed on the Eagle Crest level, some sites offer better views than others (as expected), all the sites are perfectly fine to us. When we travel we stay at RV Resorts when available, this resort is at the top of our list! We find the views wonderful, the amenities are very well kept, we have had no issues with wifi, love the location as we like to visit Blue Ridge as well as Ellijay (visit the speakeasy at The Door, very nice). Our two favorite wineries are Ott and Roo giving Roo the edge. Pickleball is rather hit and miss depending on who is staying at the resort (understandable). If that is your thing the local civic center maybe 10 minutes away has a lot of play every day at 5pm. The location of the park is awesome for us, with chain restaurants and shopping at your doorstep, and local flare minutes away. Had the chance to play some pb with the owners, they were very nice people and very concerned that we enjoyed our stay. Very nice people, very nice resort. We will be back!

Wonderful time with family during thanksgiving. The meal gathering for all campers at the main lodge was a fun experience. The new kids pool/grill/ green space is an added bonus. Only two suggestions- WiFi needs boosting as signal is weak, secondly kids on bikes/scooters needs helmets and parental supervision as many just roam.
