Nice, quiet family campground on Clarks Hill. Located near Richard Russell dam. 2 camping areas..Savannah side and Broad River side. Nice boat ramps. All of the campground hosts and staff very friendly and helpful. Poor cell service, but logging into campground wifi provides service and works in most parts of the campground.

The park manager and his team were having a Storm safety briefing when we arrived. The park manager advised us to stay for the night because the upcoming storm Helene had changed directions and was headed our way. They brought us a case of water and snack foods to get us through the night. They checked on us periodically through the evening and in the morning they moved a tree so we could safely exit the park. These guys are top notch professionals. Thank you for letting us stay there safely…

We drove 9 hours to stay here with family for Mother’s Day weekend and stayed in one of the yurts. We had a great time! Everything was so clean and beautiful. The yurt was spotless. We’re in the process of planning a longer trip up there.
