Idk why the stars are so low.. this is the best place ever. Me and my daughters, (we're locals,) go here soon much I couldn't tell you how many times we've stayed in total. The hurts, cabins, and rent sites, are amazing. Sharon is the absolute best. Never been disappointed. We've stayed there, again, countless times, over the passed 9 years. Love it.

Sharon really cares about the campground and her guests. The location is so beautiful and the cottages are amazing! We had a unique situation and Sharon was so awesome at resolving our issue. We hope to return soon!

We did not stay. We drove through to drop my father in laws book at the Borrow Barn. Camp hosts was very friendly and helpful. The grounds looked well kept and serene. There was a butterfly/ bird garden, play area for kids and a relaxing pond with loungers. Next time in the area, this would be a place to stay.

The Owners and the camp hosts were just so kind and helpful. They were all so sweet to my kids and my dog and were so accommodating when we had to reschedule last minute back in October. Besides that, the location is just top notch. One day we went to Wyoming to fish and have lunch, another day we visited Bear World up in Rexburg and the others were spent on property. The landscaping, the property, the personable details were all above and beyond. The pond with the paddle boats and the “Borrow Barn” are just great touches to an already great stay. The Children’s Play-garden is where my kids spent most of their day, just enjoying themselves and getting dirty like you’re meant to when camping. How none of us managed to get a single mosquito bite with a pond right there is beyond me but then I saw how they have a mosquito guy come drive around, explains it all. Can’t believe how well it works to keep the bugs away. He was even so kind! The rest rooms and showers were astonishingly clean, I don’t think I’ve ever seen another campsite with such well cared for amenities. What I enjoyed is the no-nonsense of their community guidelines. If you are someone who likes to get drunk, be loud and blast music- this is not the place to do it at.If you are someone who thinks they get to make their own rules because they paid for camping spot, this isn’t the place for you. The long term residents and the staff want you to respect their property and I don’t think that’s much to ask for when you are a guest! Overall, we will absolutely return when we decide to venture out to east Idaho again.

However my last stay was not enjoyable. When I arrived all of the cabins were vacant and I was placed in a cabin that had been rented long-term to someone with a pet. The coffee-hot water machine did not work. The inside of the microwave was absolutely disgusting. And there were Remenants of dog hair and a very strong cleaning /deodorizing smell. I reached out to the owner and did receive a new hot water machine but she did not address the microwave when the cleaner arrived to give me the new hot water coffee machine I mentioned to her this cleaning smell and the microwave. What was so frustrating is that I was dismissed and all three other cabins were vacant. They knew I was coming and they knew the state of that cabin. They could have easily switched me into another cabin from my two nights day. Instead I spent a sleepless night with respiratory issues left the next day before check out time and did not stay the additional night. I reached out to the owner and expressed my disappointment and reasons for it and Express that I would like a refund and again there was no response from the owner. Regardless of off-season prices or anything else business is business. This was an unacceptable experience.
