Large campsites with toilets on-site. Nice flat spots that accommodate numerous vehicles. Road getting down to camping is steep, loose, and windy.

Great unimproved camping area. Very quiet. Pit toilet. Bring your own water. Some sites don't have shade.

Nice dispersed camping area on the Snake River. Was an orchard in the late 1800's. Camped here 6/30-7/1 2025. Really nice spot, very remote and quiet. The river is more like a lake, no noticeable current, warm water temperature and very hot air temp - 103! The Snake River is a little odd in that it flows North!? Blackberries were just coming into season and made for a nice dessert and breakfa... Nice dispersed camping area on the Snake River. Was an orchard in the late 1800's. Camped here 6/30-7/1 2025. Also, another fruit tree, guessing gooseberry, was plentiful. A few boats during the day and a handful of cars was it. Complete silence at night. Sat with my feet in the Snake River until midnight and watched the moon set over the mountains. Lots of fish in the river, jumping and splashing. There is a boat launch, pit toilet, electric sub-station with an emergency siren and helipad next door. Not noticeable and no activity. No shade to park in but there is a beautiful shaded area to sit right next to the river. And no mosquitos! The one issue is that this is only available to one site so if you don't get that site you won't have direct river access.

Free dry disbursed camping on the reservoir and a clean bathroom. As always with campgrounds, you should arrive when there is still light so you can see your options. There are 4 entrances off the main road. We took the 2nd and got one of two flat spaces against the trees on the water. Beautiful. I had brought gloves and a garbage bag so we spent some time cleaning up the area before we left. Rive... Free dry disbursed camping on the reservoir and a clean bathroom. Rivers and drinking can result in trash. Leave campsites cleaner than you find them.
