The camp host was atrocious. I let my dogs out of the camper to throw a ball to them on the beach. The host who did not identify her self, came into our camp with her dog and immediately caused a dog fight with our neighbors dog who was on a leash. I put my dogs in the camper again. I did have an electric dog collar on my dogs. I asked the host if she was the owner, she retorted that she was the C... The camp host was atrocious. I did have an electric dog collar on my dogs. I asked the host if she was the owner, she retorted that she was the Camp Host and that she would not leave with out an apology. I asked her for what? I was unaware of the reason. She wouldn’t say and so I told her I would not apologize. I was told to leave. I’ve never dealt with a worse outfit. No way would I go back this ridiculous place. There are much better camp grounds near by, I recommend them.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! You are definitely off the beaten-path, BUT the location is worth it! The WiFi is strong, showers were great after a long, hot day of exploring and we loved being just off the river! We would highly recommend this stay!

Just WOW! This place is absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to go back. We had site number 1 which I thought was the best. It is right next to the kids playground if that concerns you but for me it was a delight to watch them have so much fun. There is an incredible beach area with nice calm water to splash around. Bring your own toys. The campground itself was so clean and very well taken care... Just WOW! This place is absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to go back. Had no issues getting my fifth wheel leveled. During our time there were no campfires due to fire season but when you can I imagine it’s heavenly. You will not be disappointed.

The Carlson family made our stay one I will cherish and remember for the rest of my life. What a beautiful space! The dry cabins are perfect for a quick get away or a stop along the way! We will be back again! Already have our space booked for 2026!

I wish we could give more than 5 stars- what an incredibly magical place. You will feel like you’re in a movie set everywhere you turn. Unreal views. Very clean facilities and well maintained grounds. The office staff are really nice and helpful, make sure to shop their merchandise, cute clothing & hat lines. The other campers have been really nice, everyone has dogs, just a great community family feel. Camp host couple are very kind and helpful. At one point we ran out of honey and we sent the kids to find some at the office shop in case they sold it, they didn’t, but gave us some from their personal office supply, very sweet (pun intended). Make sure to go rafting while here or book a jet boat tour of Hell’s Canyon with Killgore Adventures. We cannot wait to come back next summer, thanks to whole RV Landing/ Carlson Ranch fam for being the highlight of our Idaho trip!
