About Departure Point

Departure Point Recreation Area is available for public day use and camping on a first-come, first-served basis. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. Camp hosts or staff members are typically available onsite 7 days a week, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Day use annual parking passes are available for $40. Please see the office for details. The fee season goes from May 1 to mid-October.
