What a blessing this community is. The hospitality is unmatched. Dale and Jess Ann are wonderful hosts. The farm fresh food, the views, and most importantly their kindness and love are evident. I highly recommend meeting them and sharing in what they have built. The cube is cozy, the views are glorious. Thank you Dale and Jess Ann for creating a wonderful, peaceful experience. I will be back!!

I am staying at the perch, tiny house. I am writing this review, from the rooftop deck. This tiny house has a lot of charm. A great view, and location. Don’t forget to stop at their produce stand. The hosts are great people, very accommodating and friendly. The best is the jug of spring water. i have stayed here at the Ole RV Park, multiple times. It’s peaceful and rustic. The instant hot water heater was great for enjoying showers! The owners, Jess Ann and Dale "Edge" are friendly and accomodating. Very kind hearted, down to earth hosts! We enjoyed mingling with the animals on the property (chickens, goats, bunnies, horses and mules). We genuinely hope to be back in Horseshoe Bend so we can book another stay there!

My husband and I decided to camp with my folks and little brother here again after being here back in 2023. Previously, we had a great time! Amenities were fun, site was quiet, and the owners were so friendly and helpful. They even backed in my parents camper! Naturally we wanted to make it a somewhat regular spot since we loved it so much. Thing is, back in 2023 a lot of things were broken and worn down, but we were told they were in the process of repairs and upgrades. Not to mention, we had a lot of fun using the indoor pool and shuffle board outside. Now…fast forward to now. We came back, and started checking in. The front desk gal wasn’t out right rude, but she wasn’t particularly nice either. She checked us in and we went our mary way. After settling in we went through the resort again to see what has maybe changed in the last 2 years, and to our surprise…nothing changed. Both good and bad. Unfortunately the pictures online were deceiving. The outdoor pool was gross, smelly, and very green. The hot tub was supposedly open, but it looked unclean so we didn’t use it. The ski ball in the upstairs area was still out of order like it was in 2023. The area for coloring had markers and pencil with crayons, but many pieces were missing or broken. The pool table downstairs had a slight shift so the balls moved a bit more than normal, however we still had a good time playing. The tv downstairs in the game room worked, but we found out from the front desk gal that previous guests children had ripped off the sensor and they couldn’t use the remote. The outside basketball courts and tennis/pickleball net were a bit out of shape as well. The foosball table had broken players all over the table, not usable at all. We did enjoy the indoor pool quite a bit, playing pool and darts, and my folks enjoyed playing cards too. Unfortunately it was clear that about 95% of what was broken 2 years ago was still broken or unkept now. It was also not completely clear to us that my little brother who was not an adult yet, was not necessarily allowed in the game room downstairs. We assumed from the sign that said Adults 18+ would indicate we could bring my little brother in as long as he was with adults. He also is not a rambunctious kid. However, i guess the rule of the room was adults only. Had that been communicated to us properly we of course would’ve understood. When asking for a remote to watch a movie on the downstairs tv, the front desk gal said “we don’t have a remote due to previous kids ripping off the sensor. We have since made it adults only. Which i’ve been turning a blind eye to by the way” This comment was unnecessary, rude, and could’ve been avoided had she simply come to us earlier than our last night and said “Unfortunately this is an adults only area. But feel free to use the upstairs game area as well!” The camping site itself was quiet, and easy to set up in. But the overall resort this place claims to be needs a bit of a facelift. The pictures online are deceiving to what you get. We also did not appreciate the service we were provided by the front desk gal who made it seem like we constantly inconvenienced her for asking stuff; such as getting the equipment to play shuffle board or asking for a remote for the tv. The maintenance guy there was really nice and helpful though. We want to come back, especially because the owners were so friendly the first time, but seeing the state of the resort now and how little was upgraded or repaired, and the front desk gal being overall very rude, it’s hard for us to decide if we come back.

Rustic, quiet, and secluded. Just what I wanted and needed to van camp for a long weekend. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Had an amazing time here. Tracey is amazing! We stayed in the RV park and the place felt like it grounded us and just healed our soul. We would highly recommend this hidden gem; however if your boujee may not be your place. But for the rest of us who love adventure, looking at the amazing stars, enjoying a good pool and sauna this is the place! Thank you all so much!

Fantastic rooms, cozy bed and soft pillows. All of the amenities were in great condition and we really enjoyed our time there. My son and I loved combing the Library for a book to read before bed. Can't wait to go back!!

We have camped here with friends 3 years in a row and by this year - 2025, we expected some improvements to the outdoor sports areas and pool. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed. The lounge area as well as the camping spots were in good shape and the one staff person we met very polite & accommodating. We only saw and spoke with that one woman when we checked in but never saw another employee that I know of. We did see one woman our third day, that may have been an employee, that was sunning up on a deck when it would have been nice to have someone skimming the bugs out of the outdoor pool. Speaking of the outdoor swimming pool - you will probably be extremely disappointed if you want to use it. The cement deck area around the pool is in horrible condition with a lot of flaking, chips and chunks of the cement coming up and some horribly done patch jobs. The pool deck appears to have settled and no longer meets the edge of the pool creating a tripping hazard. The pool itself is in horrendous condition and in bad need of being completely refurbished. The bottom of the pool has large chipped areas and areas that are dark in color which were slimy and slippery. We had to skim bugs and debris out before we could even use it and try to avoid those slimy areas. Not a pleasant experience. The fact that we were there in July and the place was almost empty does not bode well for this facility.
