Campground with many large campsites with a fire pit and community bathrooms. A short walk down the road will take you to a mostly level dirt trail around Gibson Reservoir.

Nice views on drive to campground. Camped in Mortimer Gulch campground 2 weekday nights in July 2020. Vault toilets were clean, many sites large and private, and only a few other campers. Quiet. Hiked up Mortimer Gulch trail, many braids and shortcuts from horse users, but did not meet any horses. Decent views.
