Probably shouldn't rate this because it's a 1st come 1st served campsite. But it's a great site right on the river. My grandkids loved it as well as my Chesapeake retriever.

We didn't stay in this campground - we just checked it out for future reference. This campground only has 2 sites. They are very close together which could be great for families and friends who want to camp together. Its a beautiful location, right on the river, with plenty of shady trees. The camp sites are also pretty close to the road, but its not a super busy road, so should be fine.

Great spot along the St. Joe River just a few miles east of Avery.
