This park is great to get out of town a little bit, disconnect (there is no cell service) and paddle board with your pup. We love it cause dogs are welcome and it’s less crowded than Lucky Peak. Don’t get me wrong it gets busy on nice days but you can usually find parking in one of the two lots.

Nice spot for paddle boarding and swimming. Will mention that it does now get really over crowded used to come here often as a kid and it really gets packed up and is kinda sad. Regardless nice spot for the family and great environment.

It was definitely worth the trip. We put in close to the boat ramp. We started going one direction and went under a bridge. Some people were jumping off the bridge and I did as well on the way back. We continued past the dock where we put in to another dock and took a snack break. Some boats and jet skis passed. There are no wake buoys and for the most part they followed the law. Water was not cold but just the right temperature.
