We loved our visit. The bathrooms were remarkably clean, and the view was beautiful. The other campers were courteous and quiet. You couldn't tell how close to a road you were, based on the sound; all we could hear was the rushing of the creek and the chirps of the birds!

Clean and beautiful campground right by the east fork of the Bitterroot river. It has a vault toilet, drinking water, and a fishing pier. The campground hosts are super nice people and maintain a lovely campground for everyone to enjoy. It wasn’t crowded when we visited, although it is right by the highway so we can hear cars driving by. All in all we had a great camping experience and would love... This is a small 10 unit Campground on the river. Just nice paved parking with restrooms and water access but no hookups or sewer dump. There is some highway noise during the day but seldom any at night and is very peaceful. It is beautifully maintained by Mike the Campground host and all branches trimmed back so you do not scrape them with your camper. The spaces are large and will fit most any RV... Mike, the camp host, is the kind of person you want to have as a neighbor so you can invite him over for a beer or barbecue. The camp is super well maintained. The bathrooms--fancy outhouses--smell faintly of flowers. Like a bathroom at the Venetian in Vegas. I've never experienced this at any other campground. It's almost spooky. How did he do it? The Bitterroot river is right next to the camp... Mike, the camp host, is the kind of person you want to have as a neighbor so you can invite him over for a beer or barbecue. It's almost spooky. How did he do it? The Bitterroot river is right next to the camp. It has small pools that make for a great pre-sleep bath. Yeah, it's cold, but not terrible. The cliffs across the river make a spectacular view. The downside here is the noise. The camp is right on the very busy highway, and the nearby bridge makes cars sound like fighter jets coming in to strafe the camp. If you are hard of hearing, you won't care about the noise and this camp will rate 6 stars out of 5. But if you are noise sensitive, you will only get about 6 hours sleep, when the traffic dies from midnight to 6am.
