Couldn't have picked a better place to break down. Campground hosts stayed up after house to guide us in. The owner took us up the mountain for an amazing view of the sunset. (So thankful we had our UTV). Has a great place to relax in the river. Can't thank them enough for all they did. Hope we get to see you again. Thanks, From Minnesota

Renegade 38ft with Jeep in tow. Stay was early August. The female employee met me in front of the office for check in. Upon seeing our rig (38ft), she immediately takes the Lord’s name in vain. Not a good start! 15 minutes later, the computer was finally booted & I was checked in to site 16. Not a good start! 15 minutes later, the computer was finally booted & I was checked in to site 16. I was told due to the size of the rig, my Jeep would need to be parked in overflow which by the way, is on the other side of the park. Did I mention I’m 71 & handicapped. You didn’t ask. We needed to dump. It’s located inconveniently to the side, at the bottom of the entry hill with the office in front of it. Two try’s to get close enough. Site 16. Sprinkler head, right front tire, to miss. Shared pedestal. 50A Plug in, nothing. E2 on Watchdog. L2 no voltage. I approached the staff. Older guy (Bill, owner) with white hair wants no interaction. The female employee & husband hear my issue. He goes with me to the pedestal & rechecks the issue. No voltage, breaker issue. He then just plugs us into the 50A in pedestal 15, which has an RV on the 120 plug. Never tells the other customer what has occurred. Voltage was L1-117 / L2-120. Day 2, we return from the Killgore Adventures raft trip (excellent) and all sites around us are filled. We have no personal area on either side (see photos). All 3 RVers have parked their vehicles in the area including directly behind our RV. Blocked in but our JEEP cannot be parked anywhere near us. We asked about reparking the Jeep nearer & we’re told to park in the site behind us…yeah (see photo) the one with the tree, under the broken limb ready to fall.!? Since we now have no area near the RV, my wife now has to walk our dog on the far side of the park near the sewer dump. As she does, the woman manager approaches her and tells her to she can’t walk him there either. Boy Scouts are setting up tents in that area. So she now needs to walk him on the other side of the office, where the Jeep is parked! We gave up with the issues & forfeited 2 days ($85) & spent $114 at another park. Due to the sewer issues & pedestal positions, personally I would deem this Big Rig unfriendly.. We used Starlink which was 150mb.

Great little RV park on the river and close to Whitebird, ID. We were there in May which is a good time to go and avoid the heat of Summer! We were there in May which is a good time to go and avoid the heat of Summer! We had a wind storm come through and a couple of trees needed to be cut and removed after dropping close to the RV but the owners had a service out there a few days later and took care of it. This park is electric and water only with a dump station. They also meter the power so be prepared to pay a few bucks if you use a heater or air conditioning a lot. We paid $6 extra for the 6 days we were there using the heater . The dump station is a bit tight if you have a longer rig. They do have a big lot you can turn around in so without that, things would not have worked out so well. Great spots along the rivers edge for back in campers and the pull through spots are roomy and not to bad. They have a gazebo with fire pit that you can use and it is stocked with wood. Overall, good place to stay!

A great campsite by the Salomon River. The pitches are not too large, but sufficient. We have been to many campsites during our travels through the USA. Nowhere else did we find such great washrooms. They are almost bigger than at home. We have met some nice campsite owners, but Bill from Swiftwater RV Resort is more than just a host. You feel like a friend there. Thank you, Bill, and all the best... A great campsite by the Salomon River. The pitches are not too large, but sufficient. We have been to many campsites during our travels through the USA.
