Tie Creek Campground

Beautiful campground, unfortunately when we came in mid September, the bugs are so unbearable. Usually with flies, they’ll just fly around you just to bug you. Bugs here will actually be like “oh boy a human!” And tell their friends to literally swarm around you. Even our repellent spray wouldn’t work despite having numerous positive reviews on Amazon. We couldn’t even enjoy ourselves and go full... Beautiful campground, unfortunately when we came in mid September, the bugs are so unbearable. We left the campground 1 hour later because it was so bad.

Great campground by the river! Two bathrooms for both genders. Smaller campground with about 9 sites in the loop, fills up quickly. There is a spot for people to get into the river at that can get busy. Site: newly updated BBQ, fire pit and table. 1 tent site, plenty of room for additional tents. Great campground with a drinking water pump and bathrooms. Not very many access points to the river, but if you get a campsite with one, you will love it. The only issues were the other campers; with dogs off leash, running around, and families/kids not being taught consideration for other campers. Having said that, Tie Creek itself was well kept, clean, laid out great, and a good place for RV's.
