Cute little campground with a wonderful host. It was perfect for an overnight stay. There is a biking trail you can pick up just across the street and runs 72 miles. We walked several miles and found it peaceful and lovely.

Truly a life saver location and family owned spot when my family had a last minute cancellation issue with our trip back home to MT (truck trailer camping). Still a quaint and wonderful spot for how close it was to the interstate, I pray this spot stays open for many more years to come for all to enjoy as we did. We can’t thank them enough and keeping humanity peaceful in such a cute little location. Bless the owners!!!

Traveling thru Idaho trying to find a safe place to stay last second, By The Way was a lifesaver! We stayed in early January during the slow season. The spots and common areas were tidy, the bathroom cleanliness blew us away, and Dave and Bonnie were very hospitable and kind. The location is great too - right off I-90 and easy to find. Would stay again!

The camp spot is in a very convenient location but is also right off the freeway, as some other people have mentioned, which does make it susceptible to some heavy noise. Luckily, we're used to living and sleeping right next to a busy intersection at home, so it didn't bother us, but some people may be put off by it. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and it's very affordable for all the amenities that are included. Will be coming back here if we ever need a camp spot in Idaho again!

The catered food from their family-owned restaurant, The Gateway, was fantastic!! Everyone we spoke to raved about the food. We can’t say enough good things about this experience. Thank you!!

I spoke to the park and they pointed out that it was buried in their terms and conditions, but who reads those when making an online reservation for a campground?! Anyway, I think they should clearly state on the landing page for their website that you cannot cancel any reservation without penalty regardless of how much advance notice you provide. The site does not say that in a way that most would actually take notice. I've been RV'ing for over 10 years and never heard of such a harsh policy, especially over 30 days away from a reservation. BEWARE!

The lodge and laundry room are very nice and the views are nice as well. There are many shaded sites as well as full sun sites. The prices are very reasonable for such a nice resort. We would definitely stay here again.
